By a literary suggestion, the eliXir was born in 2009 , and it was the first aromatic wine. Is a "meditation" wine with flowery, fruity and spices aromas. Excellent for dessert or aperitif.
It is a flavored red wine produced with an aromatic 'cold' infusion in a hydroalcoholic solution of various herbs, including cinchona, rhubarb roots, violet, sweet orange peel and bitters, vanilla beans, cloves, cinnamon and other spices. To all this is added sugar and alcohol to bring it to a gradation of 16 °. Before being bottled, it is left to age in small oak barrels for at least a month.
